Sela was raped at the young age of sixteen. Now in her 20’s and trying to move on with her life when one day she sees the man on TV who raped her. After thinking of a plan on how to get revenge, her last idea is murder. She decides to make herself look like one of the Sugar Babies for his company, Sugar Bowl, so she can get an invite to the party that he will be at. As her plan is set in motion, his partner Beck, notices her actions and feels something for her.
Beck usually gets whatever he wants in life. When he notices Sela’s advance towards his partner and then gets shut down he intervenes. He decides he wants Sela for himself but only for a month. Things change once she moves in with him. Feelings start to fester and they decide no contract is needed and to just be with one another. But Sela still has her plan in her head to murder JT and decides to do some recon in Beck’s office. Till her finds her and throw her out.
This book ends on a cliffhanger and I HATE cliffhangers lol.
This book did have me intrigued in the beginning and I was looking forward to her plan coming into play and how she was going to execute this. I feel as the writing kind of tapered off a bit for me in the middle. But I am looking forward to the next book.
