My Rating:
Lily LeBlanc isn’t versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she’s definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend? What could possibly go wrong? Nothing at all.
NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy’s more than happy to be Lily’s spring board back into the dating scene.
Casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone’s bound to gets pucked over.
PURCHASE
Although the sex scenes were great as usual with this series. Though there wasn't enough dialogue for me, the things Randy and Lily would say to each other were scorching.
Randy and Lily are not a match made in heaven. They are the total opposite. But you know what they say about opposites attract. And that’s exactly what happened. Lily’s mother has warned her from the beginning to stay away from hockey players. And Lily has till she meets Randy, her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend (make sense? You got it). It was only supposed to be a “friends with benefits” type of relationship, on both parts. But we all know it never stays that way.
Randy is not your typical “puck bunny” a day type of person, he likes one at a time. But no relationship, no strings attached, just sex and a good time. Lily just broke up with her boyfriend of 6 years and isn’t looking for a relationship herself. After defending her honor one thing leads to another with these two. As hard as they try to just keep things simple, feelings always get in the way.
I sorta hate that this wasn't what I expected. It wasn't terrible but I was left wanting more from these two. I wanted to love it as much of the others, but nothing is perfect.
