Some mistakes are worth making...
Lauren Layne's Best Mistake series continues with MADE FOR YOU.
When the Wrong Guy is Oh-So-Right Will Thatcher is exactly the type of sexy playboy good girls like Brynn have always avoided. And yet there was still something about him she just couldn't resist. When Will moved across the country three years ago, Brynn vowed it was time to put him behind her. She never thought Will might have other plans . . . Back in town, Will intends to get what he's always wanted-gorgeous, unforgettable Brynn. For years, he tormented the untouchable ice princess in a desperate bid for her attention. Now he has a new plan, and he'll do anything to rewrite their stormy past. This time, he's out to show Brynn that the imperfect man might be the best mistake of her life . . .

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this.

First off, if you haven't read Only With You, I suggest you do that. Can this be read as a standalone? Yes, but why would you?

Made for You is about Brynn, who we originally meet in Only With You, she is the type-A sister of Sophie. Everything in Brynn's life has to be planned out to a T. No unexpected things must happen to her. Then there is Will. The one thing in Brynn's life that is very unexpected. Enemies from since they were kids, the feud between them are strong. As strong as the sexual tension and chemistry. When Brynn starts to realize that her lists and expectations aren't really helping her live a full life, she has a mini break down. Starting up a fling with her mortal enemy is her first step. But when she starts to see that Will is possibly not the worse in the world, maybe he is more than just the pretty playboy she always thought him to be, things get even more confusing for her.

What really worked for this story for me was that Brynn was very believable. With the use of flashbacks, we get a glimpse of why Brynn is the way she is. Why everything must be perfect for her and why letting people in is such a hard thing for her. We also get to see how her and Will came to be. That is something we didn't get in the first book.

I also really enjoyed how naive Brynn was about Will. Even from the first book I could tell that Will had deeper feelings for her, but with them being the mains here you got to really see why and how. Brynn not realizing it worked to help keep that enemies turned lovers thing going for as long as possible.

At times though, I found myself wanting more of Will. Even though we got to get in his head at times and see Brynn through his eyes, I wanted more. On the surface, Brynn and Will just didn't make sense even though I wanted them to. Will was what Brynn needed to give her life some balance. But I wanted to know what Brynn gave Will. That didn't come across as much for me.

Ultimately, I loved the cat and mouse of this book. There were times when it was just pure hilariousness and I found myself cracking up just as much as I was swooning. Lauren Layne has a gift of bringing you into her character's lives fully and I appreciate that a lot.

I really hope there is more in the future. Love this series.
