"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
Happy Wednesday! Summer is almost over, especially now that I know some kids are going back to school. It feels weird! I remember when I was younger we didn't start until after Labor Day. Well, I don't know. Anyway, lets get on with the waiting!

These all sound exciting. I have only read the first book in the Angelfall series and I loved it. The Walled City i have a feeling will be an excellent book. Nice picks.

There's already an Angelfall 3? I'm so behind! I started reading (well, listening actually) to Angelfall and I liked it but put it aside for some reason. I need to catch up, especially since you binge-read the first two books!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks!! I've heard of both and they seems so good!
ReplyDeleteWoah! I will definitely be adding BOTH of those to my TBR! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI got an ARC of The Walled City at BEA and can't wait to read it! I still need to read Angelfall 2 though. Great choices!
ReplyDeleteOh YES to both of these! I cannot wait for The Walled City, I've heard so many great things already. And I didn't know that the 3rd Angelfall had a release date!! Yay! It seems like so, so long in between the Angelfall books. Hope you enjoy your picks, they're both great ones!
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard of the The Walled City before, but damn it sounds really interesting! I still need to read Angelfall. It's on my TBR list, I swear, haha. Hope it's as fabulous as the first two! Thanks for sharing!

The Walled City sounds fascinating. I heard of this book a couple weeks ago. It sounds a little like The Maze Runner, which I haven't read, with the running and labyrinth run aspects.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of the Penryn & The End of Days series, but it sounds interesting. I like the idea (bookies) of there being angles and no rules. I'm curious as to why angels are hunting for humans as well.
Two interesting picks for sure. :)
Nice picks! I know someone lees who's really excited about The Walled City and you've remained me I still need to read Angelfall.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
