What a week! It feels like I was just telling you all what was to come for the week, and here I am wrapping it up. I guess what they say is true, time flies when you're having fun. My trip to Nashville has been AH-MAZ-ING. For the first time in three years I got to sleep in my childhood home, in the comfort of my bedroom; it was magnificent. Unfortunately, today is my last day here, but it's already been decided that my kids and I will be returning for another two weeks, once summer camps come to an end. My husband is either having the time of his life or really understanding, I can't decide which.
Nikki hopefully learned that the world wouldn't fall apart if I went on vacation, since there isn't a day that went by when we didn't talk anyway. Besides, she went parading and to see Transformers, which she loved despite all the bad buzz around the interwebs.
The downside to vacation? Not being able to read, both books and posts, as much as I would like. I'm sure Nikki can empathize, as she told me earlier in the week that she wasn't able to get through a single book. (She did, for the record.) Anyhoo, I'm realize I'm rambling, so on with it I go.
