Stacking The Shelves #4

Stacking The Shelves, a weekly meme hosted Tynga's Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Long time no stack! It has been a busy few weeks for both of us but we have book been reading and getting books. So we will BOTH be sharing the books we've gotten over the last couple of weeks.

  • Burnt Offerings by Laurell K. Hamilton - A few weeks ago I started the Anita series and read five books back to back. After book six I had to take a break, but that didn’t stop me from returning to Anita.
  • To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han - This book was on my “To Read” list for a while, and like so many other books, it set there, forgotten until I read a friends review on Goodreads. Once it was on my shelf, I couldn’t not read it, so in the span of a day I devoured this little book and moved on to purchase the following three by the same author...
  • The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han - This, regretfully, is the only book on this list that I wish hadn’t made it. Don’t let that derail you from trying it for yourself, though. The writing simply threw me off and I found myself wondering how this was written by the same author as To All the Boys and Burn for Burn.
  • Burn For Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian - I love revenge books. I’m always rooting for the underdog, so the synopsis reeled me in good.
  • Fire With Fire by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian - Book 2 of the Burn series. If the third was out it would have made this list, too!
  • Wallbanger by Alice Clayton - Wallbanger, oh, Wallbanger. I started this story when it was a fanfic, but never completed it. After Nikki read and enjoyed it I felt compelled to buy and finish this story. Soon, Wallbanger.
  • Blue Moon by Laurell K. Hamilton - Book eight; I’m all in now.
  • Beatless by Amber L. Johnson - A friend, whose opinion I trust sometimes more than my own, began reading this and posted a few updates on Facebook. I had never heard of Beatless or Amber L. Johnson, despite her being a popular fanfic author, until a few days ago, but once again, once this book reached my shelf it was calling me. I. Ate. This. Up.
  • Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry - Every now and then I find a gem in iBooks Free Book of the Week. Here’s hoping this is one of those.
  • Cinder by Marissa Meyer - I had seen a bunch of people read and love this one. I tend to really like sci-fi books so I said let me pick this one up.
  • The Thousand-Dollar Tan Line by Rob Thomas - I am a HUGE Veronica Mars fan. So knowing this book was coming out, it had been on my list for months. I finally got it and I can't wait to dive into it.
  • Not Quite Mine by Catherine Bybee - It is no secret that in the last month or so that Catherine's books have become my addiction. After finishing the Weekday Bride Series, I had read Not Quite Dating, which I got a couple of weeks ago. It was great so I had to get book two in the series and I was not disappointed. Fluff and drama. It was my favorite out of the three I think.
  • Not Quite Enough by Catherine Bybee - Book three in the Not Quite Series. LOVED IT! I really want more books but I'm not sure if she will.
  • Reboot by Amy Tintera - A friend of mine read this a couple months ago and loved it. This is another book that looked like it had a really Sci-Fi element that I can't wait to get into.
  • Choose Us by Caylie Marcoe - I borrowed this from the Kindle Library for the month of May but ended up reading it in a day. LOL. I love Xtreme sports and I love reality TV. This book was a combination of them both and throw in some Best Friend Love, I was hooked. This is the first book from Caylie, but I think she shows some promise.
  • Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry - Keira mentioned this was free and I had to get it. It had been under my radar for sometime. I'm happy to start it soon.
  • To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han - This had been on my list for a long time. I think ever since I saw the cover reveal. I got it the day it came out and even went to the launch party for it! But it took me almost 3 weeks to finish.
  • The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han - Keira told me to get this just so we can compare. I'm pretty scared since she didn't really like it.
Pretty much what we do to each other

Look out for our newest book discussion on To All the Boys I've Loved Before coming soon. Also we have a couple of reviews coming up and some surprise things!

Until Next Time!
