Blog Tour: Hate 2 Lovers by K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield!

Hate 2 Lovers

by K. Webster and J.D. Hollyfield 2 Lovers Series #2 (May be read as standalone) Publication Date: April 4, 2017 Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romantic Comedy
She hates him and his big head. He likes her and her big t*ts. She hates him because she somehow ends up naked every time she sees him. He likes her because she somehow ends up naked every time he sees her. She hates him because the big oaf knocked her up with his kid. He likes her because she’s carrying his child. She hates the way he gets inside her head. He likes the way she lets him see glimpses of her heart. Andie: I hate you. Roman: I know…but I’m going to change that. ***This is book two in the series. It is best if you read book one first to fully understand this couple’s story.***

Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Kobo | iBooks
It’s the start of nothing good. I fired off a storm of raunchy text messages…to the wrong number. And he replied. Him: Show me a picture. Him: Tell me your name. Why does the lure of anonymity have me craving to indulge a stranger? It’s the start of everything right. I received a slew of text messages…when everything in my life was wrong. And she made me laugh again. Her: You’re probably a creeper. Her: Possibly a stalker. Why do I have the overwhelming need to find this stranger who saved me and make her mine? Him: Take a chance with me. Her: This is crazy. Him: I need to see you. Her: What are we doing? Him: We’re about to find out. Her: PHOTO ATTACHED Him: PHOTO ATTACHED

This was really super cute. And written extemely well. You know how sometime when you have dual author books and you can tell? Well, this one you couldn't. They meshed and flowed very well together. Unfortunately, I didn't read the first book, Text 2 Lovers. So I wasn't sure what to expect of this one. But it was so cute and could be read and understood.

Andie and Roman have been sleeping together. And when that happens, sometimes you get pregnant. Of course Andie ends up pregnant. But she's not sure she wants to keep it because she didn't have the best childhood.  Roman is doing everything in his power to prove that him and Andie belong together. He's very possesive of her but not in a crazy way. Just madly and deeply in love with her. He wants to be there for him and his child.

Basicaly, Roman was the best.

It was funny, engaging, and all the feels came out with this book. I hope that they continue further with this series. And it gives me time to go back to read the first!

Blog Tour: What I Need by J. Daniels - Review!

What I Need (Alabama Summer #5)
Author: J. Daniels
Publication Date: March 5, 2017
Published: EverAfter Romance
Source: Inkslinger PR

My Rating:

From New York Times bestselling author, J. Daniels, comes a sexy new STANDALONE novel.
Riley Tennyson has made a huge mistake.
At least, that’s what she keeps telling herself.
Showing up to her brother’s wedding pissed off and newly single, Riley seeks comfort in solitude and an open bar, until the gorgeous and irresistibly charming CJ Tully makes her a better offer―a wild night with the master of smooth-talking where nothing is off limits.
Riley does what any single woman would do, and a connection is made. One neither one of them can ignore. But when she comes home to the boyfriend she no longer thought she had, Riley buries her secret and begs CJ to do the same.
Forget about each other. It was a mistake. That’s all it was… right?
Desires are hidden. Distance is kept. Until one night CJ makes the ultimate sacrifice, and Riley can no longer avoid the man she can’t stop thinking about.
Not with him sleeping down the hall…

This was clearly one of my favorites. Definitely second after the first in this series. Ben and Mia will always have my heart forever. It just hits home. But Riley and CJ do it for me too.

What I Need starts off with Reed, Riley's brother, wedding. (Couple from book 3.) Riley is the maid of honor and CJ is the best man. They hit it off. And of course they end up doing the dirty, multiple times. What Riley didn't expect though, going home and realizing she's still in a relationship!

Drama galore. Of course this means CJ and Riley can't be together. Friendzone for the pair of them. But you know what happens when you're in the friendzone? Problems. There is more drama that forces these two together in a way they didn't anticipate.

There are a lot of secrets going on with these two and makes you want to punch them in the face. Or be like "Grow the fuck up!" but you understand. Somehow they both just work. Even with a huge age difference, 8 years!, it still works.

Well done! The banter was great and again, one of my favorites from J.Daniels for sure.

J.Daniels is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Sweet Addiction series, the Alabama Summer series, and the Dirty Deeds series.

Blog Tour: The Wright Brother by K.A. Linde - Review! (@AuthorKALinde)

The Wright Brother (Wright #1)
Author: K.A. Linde
Publication Date: February 28, 2017
Published: Everafter Romance
Source: Inkslinger PR

My Rating:

I'd dated his brother.
He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.
I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.
Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.
Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.
When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

I've wanted to read a K.A. Linde book for a long while. I'm ecstatic that this was my first taste of her writing. I adore second chance and family stories. And this game me everything I would have hoped for.

Emery (great name) catches her professor/boyfriend cheating on her. She uses this as a reason to return home and reevaluate things in her life. What she didn't expect when returning to her Texas hometown was to see the Wright Family. When her best friend, who I LOVED, forces her to attend a wedding, she comes face to face with Jensen (another great name) Wright, the brother of Landon Wright, her ex and the one who torn her heart to pieces.

Jensen doesn't recognize Emery but he wants to know her. Having the upper hand works in their favor. The attraction is there immediately. I wasn't 100% in the Jensen fanclub at first but I fell in love with the whole Wright brood. I can't wait to read more about them.

There was more angst to this than I actually expected but it wasn't terrible. I loved Emery and found her to be a strong character and truly made me root for her. In the end, I can say, I was a fan.

K.A. Linde is the USA Today bestselling author of more than fifteen novels including the Avoiding series and the Record series. She has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Georgia, was the head campaign worker for the 2012 presidential campaign at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as the head coach of the Duke University dance team. She loves reading fantasy novels, geeking out over Star Wars, binge-watching Supernatural, and dancing in her spare time.
She currently lives in Lubbock, Texas, with her husband and two super adorable puppies.

Blog Tour: Hard Wired by Megan Erickson & Santino Hassell - Review & Playlist (@MeganErickson_ @santinohassell)

Hard Wired (Cyberlove #3)
Authors: Megan Erickson & Santino Hassell
Publication Date: February 13, 2017
Published: Megtino Press
Genre: M/M Contemporary Romance / Gaymers

My Rating:
My FallenCon agenda is simple: sit on a couple of panels and let people meet the real me. Jesse Garvy—mod of a famous Twitch channel and, if I ever come out of my shell, future vlogger. I definitely didn’t plan to sleep with a moody tattooed fan-artist, but he’s gorgeous and can’t keep his hands off me. There's a first time for everything, and my first time with a guy turns out to be the hottest experience of my life. But the next day, I find out my moody fan-artist is Ian Larsen AKA Cherry—someone I've known online for years. And he'd known exactly who I was while shoving me up against that wall. Before I figure out whether to be pissed or flattered, the con ends. Now we're back online, and he's acting like nothing happened. But despite the distance between us, and the way he clings to the safety of his online persona, we made a real connection that night. I don't plan to let him forget.

Every time I pick up a new Megtino book to read, I know that I’m in for a good time. A smutty time. A crying time. And definitely a laughing time. Hard Wired, the third installment of the Cyberlove series, was no difference.

Book Review: After You by Jojo Moyes!

After You (Me Before You #2)
Author: Jojo Moyes
Publication Date: September 29, 2015
Published: Pamela Dorman Books

My Rating:
How do you move on after losing the person you loved? How do you build a life worth living?
Louisa Clark is no longer just an ordinary girl living an ordinary life. After the transformative six months spent with Will Traynor, she is struggling without him. When an extraordinary accident forces Lou to return home to her family, she can’t help but feel she’s right back where she started.
Her body heals, but Lou herself knows that she needs to be kick-started back to life. Which is how she ends up in a church basement with the members of the Moving On support group, who share insights, laughter, frustrations, and terrible cookies. They will also lead her to the strong, capable Sam Fielding—the paramedic, whose business is life and death, and the one man who might be able to understand her. Then a figure from Will’s past appears and hijacks all her plans, propelling her into a very different future...
For Lou Clark, life after Will Traynor means learning to fall in love again, with all the risks that brings. But here Jojo Moyes gives us two families, as real as our own, whose joys and sorrows will touch you deeply, and where both changes and surprises await.

Is there life after Will Traynor? Not sure. It took a while for me to pick up this book, and I’m still not sure how I feel about it.
