Sunday Post #5

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I would love to start this post out with some grand tale of our week, but Nikki and I both took it pretty easy since she was just back from TVD Con and I'm heading back to Nashville next week. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to comment and comment back this week due to family obligations, but hopefully I'll catch up soon. The most exciting thing that happened to me, despite being surrounded by people most of the week, was the new "sister" tattoo I got with my big sister yesterday, and if I had to guess, the most exciting thing for Nikki would have been the mini shopping spree she went on. Therefore, I won't ramble this week and just get on with it.

She's a tomboy. He's the boy next door…
Charlie Reynolds can outrun, outscore, and outwit every boy she knows. But when it comes to being a girl, Charlie doesn't know the first thing about anything. So when she starts working at a chichi boutique to pay off a speeding ticket, she finds herself in a strange new world. To cope with the stress of her new reality, Charlie takes to spending nights chatting with her neighbor Braden through the fence between their yards. As she grows to depend on their nightly Fence Chats, she realizes she's got a bigger problem than speeding tickets-she's falling for Braden. She knows what it means to go for the win, but if spilling her secret means losing him for good, the stakes just got too high.
Fun, original, and endearing, On the Fence is a romantic comedy about finding yourself and finding love where you least expect.

Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?
He’ll tell you he has the flu.
But we all know that’s not really true.
Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything - or anyone - derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.
Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?
Can Drew Evans win at love?
Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

Thursday, July 17th -
Friday, July 18th -

Every day a different body. Every day a different life. Every day in love with the same girl.
There’s never any warning about where it will be or who it will be. A has made peace with that, even established guidelines by which to live: Never get too attached. Avoid being noticed. Do not interfere.
It’s all fine until the morning that A wakes up in the body of Justin and meets Justin’s girlfriend, Rhiannon. From that moment, the rules by which A has been living no longer apply. Because finally A has found someone he wants to be with—day in, day out, day after day.

Beginning August 4th we'll be running the Race to 150 Giveaway. There will be three winners; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The giveaway itself is pretty straight forward. People can enter until we get to 150 GFC followers. Once we hit 150 the winners will be picked. Sound fun? We're pretty excited about it.

The Thirsty Thursday theme this week is Girl Crush. This can be bookish, but doesn't have to be. We want you to make these posts your own.

One review?! That's what you're thinking, right? Well, we have some other features this week that will hopefully make up for it. Tomorrow our Anna and the French Kiss discussion will be featured and Friday Nikki will be posting her Landline Launch Party write up. I know, I said last week, but things don't always work out as planned. Hopefully you all will stop back by to check out both!

Until Next Time,
