Stacking the Shelves #13

Stacking The Shelves, a weekly meme hosted Tynga's Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

It's the weekend! And I couldn't be more excited, not that I'm doing anything spectacular, but something I've learned is that you never know what the weekend may bring. I'm hoping for all good things and to get some reading done. How about you? Any big plans?

Boys Like You by Juliana Stone - I have read many great reviews on the book, but never added it to my TBR. This week it was on sale on Amazon for $1.99 (Kindle edition), so I couldn't resist!

Because She Loves Me by Mark Edwards - Lately I've been wanting to read thrillers, especially psychological ones, and this sounded right up my alley, so I requested this from Netgalley and can't wait to dig in.

Dream Boy by Mary Crockett and Madelyn Rosenberg - I've been dying to get my hands on Dream Boy. It was one of those books that I thought about so much until I just didn't. The other day I was in Barnes & Noble and came across it. I'm sure you can imagine my delight!

Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern - Another that's been on my TBR for a while. I've seen this book everywhere! If it's half as good as its cover I'll be pleased.

The Dinner by Herman Koch - After seeing the release of Summer House With Swimming Pool by the same author I was reminded that I wanted to read The Dinner, and picked it up. However, I still can't stop thinking about Summer House and plan to grab that one soon, too.

The Giver by Lois Lowry - I know, I should have read this long ago, but something about the cover always put me off. With the movie coming out, however, and with all the rave reviews I've read, it was time I gave The Giver a chance.

Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid - I don't remember how I found this book but the title just stuck with me. Kinda reminds me of the movie Encino Man. Maybe I'm just wishing for 90's Brenden Frasier to show up at my front door.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman - I feel like this is me jumping on the bandwagon of books everyone talks about. Watch me either hate it or love it.

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins - I finally finished Anna and the French Kiss so this was just the natural progression.

Broken by Lauren Layne - I had gotten her other book, Only With You, from NetGalley and this is another one I can't wait to start. Her writing is just plain good.

The Real Thing by Cassie Mae - First off, her name is awesome. And second, I think this book is about me lol Not really but I can't wait to start this one as well.

Where You Are by Alla Kar - This one is for our upcoming blog tour. This will be our second blog tour and I'm so excited to start this one. It's my next read.

 Until Next Time,

  3. I actually didn't read The Giver till college, but I wound up really, really enjoying it. I am excited for the movie, even though the previews make it look as if they'll be changing quite a few things.
