My Rating:

Love is one dare neither of them can take...
Arabella Stone, Nashville’s darling, is eager to shuck her prim-and-proper rep, and a few wild months spent checking items off her “ summer bucket list” is the way to do it. First up: kiss the man she’s crushed on since she wore a training bra, the bad boy of country himself, Blue bassist Charlie Tucker.
For Charlie, a beautiful woman flirting with him isn’t out of the norm—but a beautiful woman bolting after the hottest kiss of his life sure is. And when he finds out his kiss-and-run Cinderella is none other than Arabella Stone, daughter of his label’s CEO, he knows he’s in trouble. Because not only is she a Stone, she’s also his employee for the next few months at the recording studio he just bought.
Over the course of one thrilling summer, Arabella and Charlie chip away at her bucket list and fight the simmering attraction between them...knowing that once it's all over, so is their time together.

I now want to start a bucket list after reading this book and checking them off with my husband. If he wants to help, there may be some he doesn’t want to help with. LOL. I really did love this book. While reading about her musical crush, it brought me back to my youth and having NKOTB posters all over my room and what it would have been like to meet Jordan Knight. Oh those are the days and now I’m showing my age.
Bella was a girl finally coming out of her shell and following her dreams. She wanted to step out of her dad’s shadow and do things on her own without using the last name. She applies for an internship at a recording studio, little does she know her dad owns that too. She thinks she gets the job on her own. And her first day on the job her crush is the boss. How do you contain yourself after that and after remembering the steamy kiss you shared with him just a few weeks prior? Summer time is going to be hot.

Charlie wants to stay on his boss’ good side so that he will help fund his foundation he wants to start because of his niece. After finding out a kiss he shared with the boss’s daughter, that left him breathless, and now is her boss, it’s going to be hard to stay away. He keeps his distance for as long as he can till he can’t take it anymore.

I really couldn’t put this book down. I had to keep reading to see how Charlie was going to help Bella finish her bucket list before the summer was over. And try his hardest to not let his feelings get in the way.

So this book had lots of heartbreak, only because of the fact that they both wanted each other so much but held back, you literally wanted to scream at them to grow up and get with each other. But then it wouldn’t be a book worth reading that way now would it?

Some of my favorite lines are:

“Holy mother of crud nuggets”
“Baby girl, you destroy me” he whispered against her lips. “You have to tell me if you don’t want this, because I’m holding on by a thread” “Then let go” she whispered in reply.
