Stacking the Shelves #17

Stacking The Shelves, a weekly meme hosted Tynga's Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

We're working our way down our ever-growing TBR shelves, but for some reason can't resist the continuous pull to add more books. Vicious, yet beautiful, cycle it is.

The Forgotten Girls by Sarah Blaedel - Netgalley ARC. The cover drew me in and the story sounds to be right up my alley.

Fit (Fit Trilogy #1) by Rebekah Weatherspoon - When I was reading FF this was one of my favorite authors. She wrote these amazing fem-slash stories. Anyways, she no longer writes fanfic, but I'm glad she is still writing.

I'll Be Watching You by Beverly Barton - Netgalley ARC. Another mystery. Those seem to be my thing as of late. Maybe it's the upcoming season.

Bad As In Good by J. Lovelace - I had no idea what to expect while communicating with this author about Bad As In Good, but when this book arrived on my doorstep I couldn't have been more pleased. I'm dying to start reading this.

Breathe by Elena Dillon - Netgalley provided. I've heard some great things about this story and cannot wait to review it myself. Rumor is that the second book in this serious is about to be released, so hopefully I love this enough to want to read that one, too!

Love is the Drug by Alaya Dawn Johnson - I got this from Netgalley and I can’t wait to read it. I haven’t read anything from this author but I heard her speak during Book Con and she seemed really interesting as a person, so I bet her writing is as well.

What's new on your shelf this week?

Until next time,

  28. Breathe really looks good. I love the simplicity of the cover. It only has one subject and yet it already conveys a lot of meanings. Never heard of the author though. Have fun reading!

  29. I haven't heard of any of these, but they look really great! And I can totally relate about vicious and beautiful cycle- despite spending all summer buying books, I dropped in at the library with a friend and left with 6 more. I can't help it!!
