This book was absolutely amazing. I love anything that J. Daniels puts out, but this one was up there. With Four Letter Word, I had all the feels with this book. I was on pins and needles with this book, and now I can’t wait for the second one to get here.
There is so much to this book. Ups and downs and laughs and heartaches. But all of it works amazingly well. It starts off with the end of Sydney’s marriage. Her husband wants a divorce after seven years and that ends up being the reason why Sydney packs up, leaves that night and moves down with her best friend Tori. Sydney quits her job and goes to work at the restaurant that Tori works at.
Now, Tori, who was recently single because she finds out that he was actually married with a kid. So what do you do when your best friend has some heartbreak? You call the guy of course. Sydney decides to call Tori’s ex up and curse him out. But everything can’t end there. Turns out, wrong number!
Brian, the wrong number guy, texts back. From there he and Sydney start this non-visual relationship for about a month. Sydney doesn’t want to keep that part going so she forces the issue. Brian is keeping a secret though. Hence why, not knowing what she looked like was okay with him.
Not going to tell you more because you have to read this! So many feels in one book and I don’t know how she’s going to do it for her next one but I seriously cannot wait. J. Daniels knows how to write some characters and makes it easy to slip into the worlds she creates. And this one was no different.
